Young children create a beautiful opening for us to embrace each moment, to be mindful of our words and actions and to approach life with freedom, wonder and curiousity. Creative classes utilizing movement, music/sound, art and imagination are currently being developed for kids age 5-7. Kids Nia offered during Heartfelt Movement Camp
It’s an honor to announce that there will be Kids Nia offered Tuesday 8/4/09 at 2:30p during this years Heartfelt Movement Camp! This amazing camp starts 8/3/09 at 1p and is for children ages 9-12. REGISTER NOW WHILE THERE’S STILL TIME! Campers explore all different music, art and movement elements embodying artistry, balance, courage, power and total aliveness! Activities include:

And More… Experience each part of this Summer Camp Extravaganza!
Your host, Jennifer Keller, has fifteen years experience as an elementary school classroom teacher and specializes in facilitating compassionate, safe and fun learning environments for all ages to explore movement and creative self-expression. Leading this group with yoga, singing, chanting and drumming, art projects and journaling, circle up with group sharing and games, she also introduces a team of her talented friends as guest teachers.
Charlotte Foster leads Hip-Hop Dance. Rock the dance floor with your cool moves! Learn a combination of the latest moves seen on TV! Students will learn a choreographed street dance routine to hip-hop music.
Klaudio Kucelin leads Bagua Zhang (Pakua). Balancing strength and grace, this practice uses soft flowing movements that look similar to a game of patty-cake combined with martial arts. Students follow a circular path learning basic hand motions in this powerful moving meditation.
Sam Baumgarten leads Kickboxing. Taking the elements of boxing and various martial arts, students will jab, kick and jump to energetic world music! Experience the power of being fierce, courageous and alive!
Tamara Albright leads Nia. Blending martial arts and dance, students move to the beat of fun global music drawing from disciplines such as Tae Kwon Do, Tai Chi, Yoga, Jazz and Modern Dance.
Todd Delaune leads Acrobatic Yoga. Imagine playing airplane with your friends. There are three main roles: the base, the flyer and the spotter. Cultivate trust, strength and flexibility while conquering gravity! A playful, safe, supportive environment will empower the whole room to be upside down!

Tween and Teen girls need support as they step into their roles of powerful and confident contributors to society. Often times an urealistic and unhealthy standard is set by the media creating an amazing amount of pressure for girls to look and behave a certain way. Nia is a compelling tool, facilitating an empowering and positive self image for women of all ages.
